LCEN commissioned a series of studies by Professor Sam Berry on God’s word in Creation and Redemption.

Entitled ‘Whose World’ the studies have two aims:

  • To show that creation care is an integral part of the Christian faith. It is not merely an option for a minority.
  • To demonstrate that we have a part to play, however implausible this may seem in view of the scale of the problems.

 

In 2007 the London Church Leaders and the Mayor of London launched For Creed and Creation, a simple guidebook for running a greener church.

On the 5th September many denominations took part in the Creation TIme Walk. It took in Heathrow Airport. A report can be found here.

2009 St Francis Lecture. In December 2009 Professor Sam Berry, gave the St Francis lecture on Darwin and the Disenchantment of Nautre. The powerpoint of the lecture can be found here.
